Out of a Box - Reception

I learned two things at the reception for Out of a Box: 1) Half of Sebastopol is made of ex-Berkeley-ites, 2) People there must go to bed early — the gallery was empty by 7:45!

I took lots of pictures of the interesting work; some really wonderful stuff was included.

My piece (with the duplicate lamp!) provided me much interaction with visitors.

Attracting people of all ages:

And requiring a close look at all the unexpected stuff:

This kid said it looked like someone had raided the house. When asked to explain how they got the harp and the toilet onto the ceiling, he said, "Screws!" He then demonstrated the posture one would need to adopt to use the ceiling-toilet. He was highly entertaining!

The show is up until April 19; drop in if you are in the area!
